John P. Ferris Presents: From Exodus to Exile.
The book’s central theme reveals how scholarship has harmonised the seemingly irreconcilable numbers found in the biblical texts of Kings and Chronicles, all without relying on the Assyrian timeline. The only exception is the defeat of Samaria in 722 BCE, which serves as a reliable date, based upon an astronomical observation that pinpoints 763 BCE as an absolute datum point. This mathematical model reveals details that would otherwise remain hidden.

About Book
From Exodus to the Exile
Every historian recognizes that key figures, events, and dates shape our understanding of the past. This book decisively examines the timeline of the Divided Kingdom, enabling us to pinpoint the precise date of the Exodus. By utilizing thirty-four cross-references among the competing kingdoms of Israel and Judah, we clarify events and historical figures as presented in the biblical accounts of 1 and 2 Kings and 1 and 2 Chronicles.
