John ferris

John P. Ferris was born in 1955 and enjoyed a diverse career spanning various industries. As a budding poet who discovered his passion for poetry later in life, he became fascinated by how the biblical books of Kings and Chronicles condensed information from at least a dozen historical sources, covering hundreds of years and 39 reigns of the kings of Israel and Judah.

While traditional academic approaches had struggled to reconcile the data, John found the possibilities intriguing. The creation of poetry involves distilling ideas and themes into just a few carefully chosen words, much like the method used by the compilers of Kings and Chronicles. With a unique blend of analytical thinking and mathematical insight, he has managed to reverse-engineer the precise dates associated with the reigns during the period of the Divided Kingdom.
